{"id":84,"date":"2016-05-29T13:37:16","date_gmt":"2016-05-29T11:37:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sybrenhellingakunstprijs.kunsthuissyb.nl\/?p=84"},"modified":"2016-09-10T11:07:58","modified_gmt":"2016-09-10T09:07:58","slug":"jury-7e-sybren-hellinga-kunstprijs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sybrenhellingakunstprijs.frl\/en\/jury-7e-sybren-hellinga-kunstprijs\/","title":{"rendered":"Judging Panel 7<sup>th<\/sup> Sybren Hellinga Artprize"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Jaring D\u00fcrst Britt<\/strong> (1981) opened in February 2015, together with partner Alexander Mayhew, the new gallery Durst Britt &amp; Mayhew in The Hague, prior to which he worked for The Hague Sculpture, Casco in Utrecht, and as director\/curator of Nieuwe Vide in Haarlem, where he initiated Haarlemse Lente, a collaboration of contemporary art institutions and artists\u2019 initiatives. Next to being a gallery owner, Jaring is a committee member of De Zaak Nu, an association for presentation institutions. http:\/\/durstbrittmayhew.com<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bianca Stigter<\/strong> (1964) is a writer and journalist. She studied history and is editor of the NRC Handelsblad. Stigter writes essays on culture, which are published in Per ongeluk expres (2011), De Ontsproten Picasso (2008) and Goud uit stro (2002). On stage, her essays could be seen in Lady Mondegreen Live and De per ongeluk expres &#8211; two disorderly evenings on art and coincidence compiled by Stigter. She created the travel guide De bezette stad (2005) about Amsterdam during the Second World War. Her essay bundle De ontsproten Picasso was nominated for the AKO Literatuurprijs (2008). The judges\u2019 report as well as reviews featured in newspapers and magazines praised Stigter for her original view and refreshing manner of looking at art.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Riet Wijnen <\/strong>(1988) is the winner of the previous edition of the Sybren Hellinga Art Prize. She completed her Master\u2019s at the Sandberg Institute in 2012, and has exhibited nationally and internationally. In 2015, she began a new series of work titled Sixteen Conversations on Abstraction. In addition, Wijnen has published books and magazines, such as Marlow Moss (2013) and the reprint and translation of Abstraction Cr\u00e9ation: Art non-figuratif (2014). She is currently working on The Registry of Pseudonyms.
